Building a Future-Ready Data Governance Framework for a Rural Livelihoods NGO

We conducted a mixed-methods endline evaluation for the Youth Livelihoods Initiative of Dalyan Foundation and their NGO Partner (Pragati). Our efforts included framework design, tool design, extensive primary research, field data collection, training enumerators, baseline-endline analysis, qualitative insights, learning workshops, and an assessment of Pragati’s MEL systems. This work enabled the program and Dalyan Foundation to clearly understand income, livelihood, agency, and well-being outcomes for tribal youth, capture lived experiences, identify what worked and what needs improvement, and strengthen internal MEL capacity. The engagement supported evidence-based decision-making, helped shape future strategy, and left Pragati with practical tools, datasets, and a roadmap for continued learning and program refinement. It also directly helped Dalyan Foundation decide on its next cycle of funding for Pragati.
